There are hungry people in the world who would swap places to enjoy my slightly savory vegetarian dish… for the SIXTH DAY in a row (okay, make that five… I skipped a day.) I will not get bothered that a carnivore, talented in culinary cuisine, finds it difficult to break away from traditional dishes (save the occasional Japanese-style ginger tofu tease) that require meat, fish or poultry out of the principle that they “won’t taste the same”. No, people, this is not the time to get angry… it’s the time to become INDEPENDENT, get my fledgling chef-ing ass off of Facebook and other social networks to GET THEE to a COOKBOOK.

I am thankful for my leftover blackbean/tofu lasagna from Thanksgiving & will not resent the chef I married for not supplying gourmet meals.
